Lake Michigan
All 307 miles long and 116 miles wide and 923 feet deep. The weather constantly changes and in winter large portions of it will freeze over.
As a kid I visited both Lake Michigan and Lake Superior
impressive bodies of water... I was able to take the car ferry across Lake Michigan in the 70s... even in mid summer Lake Superior is freezing cold to swim in ;-) Casey .
