What a stunning beauty! This gorgeous dial with the Breguet numerals, the leaf hands and the subdials which do not cut into the numbers (in contrast to many other examples). And all packed in white gold with the perfect diameter of 37mm.

Beautiful chronograph. I think the movement is from La Joux-Perret and not THA. Both movements are very close but still different.

No, La Joux-Perret 5000 :)
Please look at the pictures. First we have the UN and the B&M. Both have the same La Joux-Perret 5000 caliber. Both to be compared with the Tortue from Cartier, which uses the THA movement. Look at the levers, they do have different shapes, etc. But both calibers look quite the same I have to admit.

There you have it - the word directly from Journe in 2003.
The THA is a second and different movement that is also a monopusher but NOT the same as the one Journe developed here for Ulysse Nardin.
After that, La Joux Perret acquired the rights to the movement and as you note, put it in the B&M monopusher too.
But Journe developed the movement, LJP is the current owner.
This is my understanding and it seems Journe's own words would back this up.

After THA, Journe apparently worked with/for Jaquet SA, witch later was renamed La Joux-Perret. But the movement has always been produced and sold by Jaquet/La Joux-Perret, also to UN. You can ask UN.

And indeed explains how Jaquet got the movement. Journe himself says it - he made the movement and later gave them the rights.
I bet Journe never imagined in his wildest dreams that a movement of his work would end up in a Baume et Mercier watch almost 12 years later!
This makes the UN a very special watch - movement was designed by Journe for UN. One of the great bargains in the world of chronographs!
A bargain, definitely. Its 37 mm case may explain that.
I don't find it too small, it is just perfect, for me.
