This watch seems to have 2 personalities Traditionnelle manual-winding - plain as well as textured depending on the angle of the lights. First time seeing it without texture.

Yeah i was pleasantly surprised. When it’s plain, it looks like the regular white gold variant.
That’s one of the reasons why i chose platinum, they don’t make lots of platinum traditionnelle, except cep and high complications.

Interesting that you get two looks with one watch, I know not everyone likes the textured dial but I really do, wear and enjoy it in good health.

If i have the traditionnelle, i would five this a pass, especially if you have the guilloche boutique edition.

I really need to see this Anniversary dial in real life.
At first, the fact that the pattern emanated from a Maltese cross bothered me (too much branding).
But I have to say that this platinum version looks gorgeous. And I wonder if this detail would still bother me in real life.

I’ve always found watches to be much more refined
In real life than on photos, and I’m sure there would be no exception with this one. The 82172 is a reference I’ve always loved, one of VC’s best imo and having a pt variant of this discreet masterpiece is great.
