Vacheron Constantin

I’m considering a Vacheron Constantin Overseas Chronograph ref. 49150 in white/silver dial and would appreciate opinions from people familiar with Gen 2 Overseas case/bracelet finishing.

The seller describes it as a clean full-set example with no known polishing, but there is no documented VC service history. I’m trying to assess whether the case, bezel, and bracelet look acceptably sharp or whether the watch appears refinished/softened.

I understand photos are not definitive, but I’d appreciate thoughts on:

• bezel edge definition
• brushing/polished transitions
• case/lug sharpness
• bracelet link definition
• whether this looks like a lightly refinished watch versus heavily polished

I’m not expecting a perfect unworn watch, just trying to avoid a softened or poorly refinished example.

I’m not an owner of the gen 2 Overseas, so other members will know better than me.

That said, this example seems fine. But judging from photos is uncertain, all the more so when they are not high res.
