...one of the few watches where I don't mind the date window as it is done so well.
It's the overall composition.
Personally I don't share the general loathing of date windows among some folks. There can be some egregious cases of course, but by and large I can give them a pass.
They cared enough to choose a typeface...
...that matches the character of the watch. Most go with something generic and it shows.

It's out of general curiosity. I'm currently in the middle of a two-year, multi-watch cycle of overhauls, and my PFs are coming up. Was curious about how you're approaching it.

Don't know what to tell you. I simply dropped my Ionica off at the Parmigiani boutique in Paris for a service. So just waiting to receive it back once done 🤷♂️. One of 7 watches I've had serviced this year and expect to do a few more in 2022 🙉🙊🙈

I've had very good interactions with PF in Switzerland. Very forthcoming, friendly and knowledgeable.
As it so happens, I've just had a conversation with another owner of a second gen QP who has his over in Switzerland right now. He can't speak highly enough of the quality of interaction, though it's taken six months to date and counting.
