Incoming Greubel Forsey Double Tourbillon Technique!
This arrived recently and I couldn’t be happier. My first GF was an Asymmetric 24 Tourbillon but I prefer the completely round case of this one. I am privileged to own many high end watches but GF quality is simply at a different level. Every surface edge angle every edge every tiniest detail is simply exquisite.

I have nothing but admiration for what GF have achieved where an obsession with absolute quality trumped all other real world considerations. I hope to visit their manufacture one day and see first hand what this incredible company brings to this fascinating industry. I fondly remember a conversation with Marcus Margulies upstairs (accompanied by some very fine champagne) in his much missed salon in Bond Street several years ago when I was buying APs and RMs and asking him what is the “best” watch and within a split second the answer was “any Greubel Forsey”. At the time although I knew the brand a little it was completely out of reach for financial reasons but I vowed that the day would come eventually when I would own one. Fast forward to 2017 and it become a reality and now I have taken it to another level with this incoming.
this is the be all end all watch, i woud stop collecting with this one , the pinical of watch collecting IMHO
GF are hands down the best watch company in the industry PERIOD. what a great piece you have there and this one in particular is amnazingly amazing

Congratulations on getting this superb watch. it must have a real feel good factor and wearing it out, most likely nobody knows the value, which is probably a good thing. If I did spot it I would have to stop you.

It is v comfy and comes with deployant and pin buckle. I prefer the former but the latter does help clamp the watch to the wrist more firmly. It is comfortable and the weight is fine for the large watch it is given this one is WG not PT.
The watch just begs to be scrutinised under a loupe. Every surface and every edge is simply perfection. If anyone ever has the opportunity to see one in the flesh you simply must do it.
