Some recent shots of my Hajime Asaoka Tsunami Classic which I shared on my Instagram but didn’t have time to share here until now.
The movement plates are crafted from German silver hence the golden look with patina.

Lol I can understand
I still love my Rolexes especially the recent sports models . But I can understand the frustrations on the waitlist front. But this Hajime Asaoka made me wait the longest amongst any watch in my collection ! Almost a 3 year wait and my AD told me now it’s like 8 years ! So Rolex comparatively is ok compared to some of these indies. :p
What I am more frustrated with are the large group brands from Richmond, Swatch, LVMH etc. They are easy to get but they keep rolling out LEs after LEs after LEs yet they are not selling well lol.
I prefer the privately owned and managed watch brands these days from Indies to Rolex, AP or PP. Yes they have long waitlist but at least they don’t push out LEs after LEs
