The new Classic is kinda crazy but it seems to work.
Was that your impression in person? There is a lot going on but in the end it seems coherent.
It’s Vianney all over. I love the case execution.
If one likes Art Deco, it’s for you. It is “less busy” in person.
I prefer the slightly smaller size and caliber choice of the original, but then again I’m biased, as an owner.
This 40mm Ti case wears also my too big with the lugs.
The original 36mm with the lugs works better to my senses.

I was there last evening and nosed around for a while. Great photos - thanks for sharing. I still don’t think there’s an element of the market that still isn’t hot. I asked Kari about the lead delivery time on GMT-6’s. He said an order placed right now is 2031 delivery. That compares to the 16 months it took for me back in late 2018. Admittedly his production focus is spread wide now, but that’s still a lot of patience required !

Definitely the most rare and most of all I appreciate the fact that 1 guy makes it and not a small factory wit a few dozen watchmakers
Buy a Lass and you know he made it…. And his wife did the engraving
One guy designed it, however…
Christian has 2 employees helping him with the production of parts.
He assembles, regulates and certainly does the final QC.
He’s the real deal. A top level independent watchmaker for sure.
