As the question was raised by Maronetti in his recent post whether or not there is much Laurent Ferrier Love here, I decided to post my Classic or Galet Micro Rotor, which I could hardly love more than I do.

Yes, the dial can become much darker, like here (pics from iPhone, so not as sharp as I would wish...).
Dial change due to light conditions is a lot of fun 😀

Such a beautiful watch
The slate grey with rose gold is quite stunning. Micro rotor with LF finishing is a delight. I had an origin opalaine and can say the LF case shape is sublime, very pebble like. I moved on from that because I had decided I would rather the micro rotor than the manual wind, with it being more iconic LF. Sadly the new prices on even a steel LF with micro rotor are 45k+, so for now I’ll admire those here 👍
Yes, prices have increased in a crazy way, unfortunately.
I found mine second hand with box and papers, luckily, from the only LF retailer in France: it made it more affordable.

These really have to be seen in person.
The finishing and smoothness of the case, lugs, etc. cannot be overstated. LF has done amazing work.
Yes, I really think that these watches will stand the test of time.
And they will probably stand it better than many less timeless designs (at least it's how I feel).
