yes, that's correct. The hands are overlapping in this picture which was probably a screw up on my part. This is not the watch for ultimate legibility, but the hands are beautiful details. both travel around the outside of the dial as the tourbillon is centrally mounted. The minute hand has the additional feature of being curved in an arc that parallels the crystal dome.

Whilst the main focus of the watch is obviously the beautiful centre Tourbillon I really don't find the hour and minute hands to be at all appealing as although goh says they are showing 3:56 I read them saying 4:56. if you can't read the time easily on a watch that is a big fail for me but obviously I am not the target customer for one of these.
