Just like Filip with his Sarpaneva, I am still in the honeymoon phase with the Habring2 Aurora that arrived in December. Slowly exploring it on different straps, here on a moon phase matching grey canvas.
I guess one reason for it being worn so much is that I cannot be bothered to learn to set the moon phase 😂😉

In this context - with the tide complication - it makes a lot of sense, since the magnitudes of the tides are moon phase dependent. But then again, as with everything there are better, non mechanical tools for it all 😉

By the way - why "antarctic moon"? This would mean, that the moonphase is shown mirror-inverted in the northern hemisphere?

With the first being the Endurance. The design choices were made for a polar environment, including an illuminated day / night phase for the first (to tell whether it is morning or evening during a polar night), a soft metal inner case for magnetic protection, better WR, etc.
