How did you like the Grand Large? And the Minute Inerte?

GL is very poetic watch, you see the marine theme right away , even without realizing that there is whale tale right on the dial( JK pointer out to me) , the case shape the night sky all create that feel . Absolutely gorgeous. In addition. 100 m water resistance and the strap made of some sort of synthetic material to make it full circle marine watch.
Minute Inerte is an also themed watch, this time in architecture, and you feel it immediately, the brick work, the keystone the case shape are so coherent and artistically done. And the minute inerte, jumping minute is just breathtaking.

I'd also be very interested to see the Minute Inerte in person someday.

The dial is not finished, Alex took us, my daughters and me, for a tour of Akrivia ateliers , the craftsman and craftswomen are extraordinarily talented so skilled I was in awe .

from this unfinished state, as is apparent in your excellent pic, to the unblemished perfect dials we see installed in completed watches.

Then polish again. I believe it was a 4 person team. Amazing people.

Maybe they or someone else is not ready for haute horology yet.

But believe me that is about to change

The personal contact and the approachability of these great watchmakers gives these watches so much more character imho .
