maybe a Thomas Prescher watch?

It is, as the tray says, his Quantieme Perpetual, in production.

I have seen and played with the watch and it is a mechanical marvel and beauty. It has been a while in coming but well worth the wait.

Will post more pictures of its creation as they become available.

Congrats Mitch! You made a great choice. Thomas Prescher's Quantieme Perpetual is beautiful and very unique in the way that all indicators come from the center.
Beautiful design and technically a very interesting watch.

I made these photos in August when I visited Thomas in his atelier, which was a magnificent experience. He showed me around, told me much about his daily business and hearing that from the watchmaker himself (and no sales representative) made it so much more special.

last year and have pictures of the watch (including wrist shots) as well but have to find them when I have time. Seeing the watch in the metal did cinch the deal and drowve me to this point.

The wait will be well worth it.

...the wait will definitely be worth it. For me it was also after seeing Thomas Prescher's watches 'in the metal' that i realized how beautiful they are. And like you, the QP absolutely did it for me as well. Unfortunately my budget is not sufficient although his prices are very reasonable.

Thomas' watches are exquisite, and the QP may be my favorite of the lot.  Very few watchmakers out there who make as many different components of the timepiece as Thomas.  You must be very excited indeed - can't wait to see the finished timepiece.

I was so attracted to this watch that I took a whole bunch of pictures of it.
I didn't want to take it off!

when we spent time with Thomas. I am glad that you posted these pictures so that I don't have to dig mine up. Saves me some time.

Got to love the watch and it sure made a great memory, more so than the horse!

I think that I have worked out what all the different hands do, apart from the inner circle one, which I think is number up to about 6 or 7. What is that one for?

It also reminds me of the Moser QP, but looks like a lot larger piece.
