Independents

There is no when, why and where with this one

Hi Amery!

As I mentioned: a quirky, intricate piece.

But to call it a "Legacy Machine" ... ?

For what reason legacy? It has got a lever like from a power boat on the dial.

If it shall be a competitor to Halter's Antigua: it is a laugh!

I do not see Jules Verne (reference to Antigua) at all.

Even in the current black 5205 from Patek I do see more "machine", like from Fritz Lang's "Metroplolis": an oily, bolted piece.

But I do not want to be to "unthankful" as a watch fan: it is still a cute, quirky piece to own ... possibly.

Hope all is well with you.

Moritz

I'm speechless...

w/ pleasure!   For a while I kept agonizing over how Kari would possibly work w/ the out-of-this-world styling of horological machines.   I can't wait to see how this piece sits on the wrist...

This watch needs to be digested...

to understand its importance. It reveals a lot about the independent watchmaking niche.

More soon...

Cheers,
Magnus

I'm reading for the 10th time al the characteristics of this watch, and I am eagerly waiting to see it in the flesh.

The WG version is just breathtaking, in picture.

Best,

Nicolas.

A most intelligent observation, respectfully, Magnus...

Not 100% convinced about the dome sapphire, but what the hell, it is so stricking and different. Hope to see one as it passes through NYC soon.
