I did that this spring with great delight.
It rather depends on where you will be. Also, check times and days open carefully - don’t trust Google
Patek Philippe is the best. Indeed takes more than a day and it’s beautiful
MIH in la Chaux des Fonds also has a lot of examples nicely displayed with some exhibits on horological and production
Omega gives good history of its contributions but I have to admit that the dustiness of the displays was off putting. Non watch people might enjoy the space and sports centric displays more than I did. I was disappointed that the oversize model of George Daniels co-axial escapement was broken…
Audemars Piguet museum is a remarkable piece of architecture- better viewed from outside than inside - that has a good historical overview and a couple of hands-on exhibits but be prepared for an overdose of Royal Oak - great if that’s what you love about AP
Muse d’Horologie du Locle was on my list but I overspent my time at MIH
Space Horloger wasn’t open at times that worked but I wanted to go
The Zurich centric ones were beyond my reach this time
