I remember the CEO or someone high up from product design posting on Hodinkee, even replying to honest/harsh replies. These watches are gaudy and uninspiring.
It's really easy though. Look in your back catalogue, pick 4 vintage designs each year and bring them out in each quarter and that's it.

In Isolation it wouldn't make sense but I got into American Football in 2016 and did a deep dive into its history and the game
How Football (Soccer) or Tennis or F1 or Cricket is big in some countries American Football is a way of life, a passion, a religion and has a strong association with the Armed Forces so there is a lot of regional and National Pride involved, it is an Amazing, Brutal and Tough game and the players, coaches and organizations have my full respect and Admiration.
Breitling has a long and deep history in the United States and the brand recognition is just as strong as Rolex, maybe some of us here wouldn't be into these pieces and I understand that, but I think its a great move from Breitling from a commercial point of view and they'll have no trouble selling them all. That's how seriously people take the sport and good timing as well as the new season is upon us.

You think? If you are right, good for Breitling. That said, I have lived in the US since 1976 and I don't remember the last time I saw a Breitling outside of a showcase at an AD or boutique. Rolex, on the other hand, I see a handful of times a week on someone's wrist.

In my personal experience Breitling is very popular with Mid Income Consumers, Rolex more for Upper Middle Income and Patek High Income, so maybe you live and work in a fancier part of town

Funny, my gut reaction was…
…yes, seems silly to us, BUT like Salman this is the USA and Breitling is a thing in the USA.
Purely anecdotal but I do cross paths quite often with folks that have Breitlings on their wrists.
Also, this wasn’t a big lift for them. Brands give us the run around on different coloured dials and logos on dials all the time but let’s be real, it’s an easy thing to do.
So some marketing wonk can write stuff like "a broad array of team-accurate colorways atop one of the brand’s most distinctive and versatile sports watch platforms"

But, I think that these are pretty cool…would I buy one? No, but, I love the color combos and the logos are pretty small…would be a fun watch to have.
