Definitely the PP...although it's a large watch (and thick) for a Patek...so make sure it would work on your wrist.

My error was not matching more closely on par pieces. You are correct, PP is the choice here.

I have seen both in person quite a bit, and owned a kind of similar Patek + the Tonda chrono.
I don't love either. IMO the Parmigiani looks like the land of missed opportunities for sharp internal angles, and because of that, I greatly prefer the solid dial ones. The new ones they just released with solid dials look great imo.
On the patek side...not huge on the aesthetics...would probably go with a different PP in the same price range.
Not having seen both, I would still go for the Patek, for sure. Parmigiani had given me buyer remorse before.
Solid retention vs. passion purchase
Just looking around there are many of last years PF releases available at an agreeable access point, that can't be said for PP.
Maybe not so much of an insider secret anymore but PF have been on a serious win streak over the past 3 years or so, personally I prefer PF's under the radar position and their movement work is really impressive.
It was an unfair matchup, I admit now. You said it right, the PF is nice, but this PP offers more.
