Was not sold on the AE until I was able to try one on...
...it is very nice. And there are so many variations. I would go for one without the date and with the Geneva seal movement. But something for everybody...
With respects to those voting Chopard, I humbly differ by choosing the IWC for only one reason
I absolutely hate the date placement of the Chopard with its lopsided date. If it was a no date then it will be a closer fight.
I love both brands, a lot! But....
in this case, the Eagle wins. And if the article compared the AE XPS, there would be no contest.
The XPS is one watch that I fell in love the moment I saw it in a pic. Needless to say, I had to have one on my wrist.
The elegance of the Eagle surpasses the IWC, which I do like: however, there is something about the Eagle in terms of design and features, whcih makes me smile more.

Yes, but it's not the XPS which also happens to cost almost twice as much as the Ingenieur...
Therefore not a fair comparison.
