Hi SJX,

The Breguet Tradition tourbillon does not have a constant force escapement.  Perhaps Suitbert or someone could clarify the distinction, but a fusee is different from either a constant force escapement or a remontoire.

Also, the De Bethune DB24 does not appear to have a variable inertia rotor, but rather a variable efficiency automatic winding system.  It's not clear from the picture how it works exactly (switching from bi-directional to uni-directional?), but it's not possible to adjust the inertia of the rotor via the winding crown.  I'd love to learn more about it however.

Lastly, in the Moser Strauman double hairspring balance assembly, both hairsprings are flat rather than having Breguet overcoils.

Ok, those are all the nits I have to pick.  Thanks again for the great report and pics!  Do you happen to have a wallpaper sized (1024x768) version of the 1st Tradition tourbillon pic?

I've made the necessary amendments for the Breguet and Moser.

As for the De Bethune, variable inertia was what is told me to via the translator since Denis does not speak much English, and I was told it was a more practical form of the same thing that the RM005 and RM010 are doing. I will have to do some checking on this bit.

I don't have a wallpaper size photo of the La Tradition, but I will do one once I am done with the SIHH report.

The main consideration was whether the brands have forums here. That accounts for nearly all the brands. The rest, like Moser and De Bethune, were unplanned. I just happened to get the opportunity, but I am glad I did, especially in the case of De Bethune.

Hopefully next year I will be able to cover more brands.

It looks like the manufacturers have rediscovered simple watchmaking. The highlights were the chronometers and exquisite models from GO (1960s and Meissen dial) and Patek Philippe Chronometro Gondolo.
