I like the look of the watch a great deal.  I see that there have been trials regarding the ability to be sterilized, and although no data is presented it seems that it can be sterilized by some process (soaking for 10-15 minutes I guess).  But isn't the engraving on the side of the case and on the case back sort of contrary to the watch's stated purpose?  Wouldn't minimizing these areas where dirt/bacteria collect be a good idea?

Maybe it's not a big concern and although I don't fault the company for having their name on the watch the engraved "Disinfectable" on the side of the case in particular struck me as a bit ironic as it would be a prime location for the gathering of "nasties."

But overall very nice package.

It seems like the easily removable rubber strap might also easily slide off the watch by accident. Is that a concern? I've heard a story of JLC Extreme World Chrono's strap opening up by accident and slipping off the owner's wrist..

I asked Anthony that and he said it did not happen.

I guess they tested it well and silicon is "sticky" in it's groove.

Let's see what Anthony says after more testing......

when I wore this watch and tested it.  The friction between the strap and the case lugs holding the strap is great enough that I don't think the strap would slide off even if tugged at.

...but what if the watch and strap are wet? I'm worried too that it might slip.

Could you test that please, if you still have the watch?

The concept or this timepiece is great. However, I'm wary of "custom" or proprietary straps and bands in any watch. Where will you find the appropriate replacement strap/band, years down the road?
