Thanks to Dom for organising an excellent gathering. The food was superb, a collection of wonderful timepieces and the attendees brilliant passionate watch guys.  This is the beauty of this group of like minded purists, a coming together to enjoy a damn good meal, and having the chance to share with each other our passion/sickness in a civilised manner.

It does macro too?   Although no camera would do that Parmigiani justice. 

Difficult watch to take a picture of without a decent setup IMO because of all the reflections you get and the entire dial sparkles.  Here's a quick picture I took at SIHH this year but came out so so.

I don't really like the Toric case, but it works for this watch very well!

There are so many J*D's...even an EOT!...man....a lot of cool watches.

Can't wait for more reports ;-)

Did I spot your new VH in there (amongst 3 no less)...?

My VH Classic is in there.  Couldn't tell which one from the picture!  All 3 were rose gold....with different colored straps!

We hijacked the table for this one.... the other patrons of the restaurant must've thought we were mad as hatters.

Sound advice on how to convince a spouse you don't just need  a $50K watch, you REALLY NEED A $50K WATCH!

The loops saw a lot of action.

Check out the guy praying in the background. He's showing gratitude, because his wife has agreed to let him buy that tourbillon because HE REALLY NEEDS it.

A trio of Classics. The light wasn't good enough to capture the difference in strap colors--one dark brown, one black, and one aftermarket deep blue to match the blued steel hands.

The wine. After a close encounter with a funky cork, the 97 E&E Black Pepper shiraz was strained into the decanter.

The norcal cab, shiraz, merlot blend went nicely with the filet mignon. Sorry, didn't get a photo of the bone-in filets enjoyed by Tim and Allen.

My personal fave. First time I'd seen one in the metal. Remember that guy praying? That's what I look like when I see this photo--only I'm praying Kari finds another stash of movements one of these days....

It was a spectacularly fun night. Mike--great to finally meet you in the metal, er, flesh. CL, great to put a face to the online handle. Allen and TIm--great to see you both as usual. We gotta do this again sometime.
