But what is meant by the term "Super Compressor Case"
Regards
Tony
Now I think I understand.
Is it that there is an internal rotating bezel or just that the case is compressed more tigthly together then normal or both?

Thanks for the great topic, your Evilness!
Thanks for posting, Nico!
I always enjoy looking at pictures of your Longines! It's dial is to die for!
Here is my contribution,
Looking forward to checking out how this thread will develop and the heavy metal that will be featured!

I got really lucky as I bought it from the original owner a couple of years ago.
I had the plexi replaced, and managed to find the steel bracelet as well to help cope with the hot climate over in my hometown.
Thanks for your your kind words, my friend! It means a lot coming from you.
All the best,
Alex
That’s a great catch! And the bracelet looks great too!
Do you have box and paper too?
I hope to be able to join the vintage Polaris club here soon…

the funny thing is that i didnt know it was a supercompressor until i posted it. Bill Sohne then pointed out that it had the ref numbers for a supercompressor and was a pretty uncommon piece being a single crown version.

To share knowledge and information!
It’s always fun to get to know more of what you already have in your box…
Then you start to appreciate the watch even more
