All my watches get wrist time. Life is too short to keep anything locked away. I didn't buy them for investment, I bought them to wear and enjoy.
The silver case is starting to get seriously beat up, but I think this one will stay in my rotation forever...

Despite your VAST collection, what do you really wear?
Hate to be such a bore... but this is what I wear 70-80% of the time... and the rest sit in their vault... plotting their escape...
I wear this watch because quite simply it is a perfect watch in every way, and I just can not find fault with it. And I love chronographs.
I've said before that it is not the most original or 'expressive' choice... but somehow it beats them all on a regular basis.
This does not change the fact that I LOVE all my watches and they LIVE in my heart when I do not wear them...
So... despite your many watches... which one do you REALLY wear?

Perhaps most frequently worn since I bought it as a "beater" in February:
But I do wear many of the others quite regularly -- daily business allows for the wear of gold pieces:
I wear this one much more than you might suspect:
This is a fairly recent addition to the stable, but has a regular spot in the rotation:
And I wore this one every day this week:
I sold this one a few months ago, but find that I do miss the "bling special" quite a bit and will be getting a bracelet for my SS/TI VC;
Less wear goes to the really dressy pieces (skeleton, repeater, heavily engraved dial, etc.). The other pieces that I wasn't wearing have all been sold but for one -- no safe queens for me! Best, Gary G

That describes about four to five days a week. The other days I wear one of a motley assortment of mostly vintage watches. My lifestyle does not admit of my wearing dress watches frequently, so they wait patiently.

Pretty much a different watch every day unless I am traveling. Sometimes a couple or three a day for certain events. There are a few that get more time.
The Planet Ocean is my go-to sport watch.
But this is second
Of course, the patina and wear I have made on my watches will make them more valuable as "worn by Snak" collectibles, so money will be made after I pass.

but then I do not have a vast collection (this being one of the reasons!). Although I have to say that recently if I do not know what to expect (leaving for a weekend with new friends, or something) or do not want to think about it, I have been grabbing this
because it is the only watch I have on a winder, completely flies under the radar screen, makes me smile and can take a beating.

tend to wear vintage
I am new to vintage.Only for about 3 years. I am very careful when wearing my watches which I bought new and i tend to wear the vintage secondhand pieces as they are already scuffed up.I also tend to wear my steel or composite sports watches whilst the dress or precious metals gets the least wear.

I wear most of them from time to time
I have a couple of watch boxes on my dresser that contain the most special watches as well as a selection which I refresh with the seasons or when I get a new acquisition. Right now all the steel bracelets are in use for the hot weather, so the rotation is small. I like to wear a different watch each day, and during the day will change from a beater to a nicer watch or vice versa depending on activity.
The others in the study are organized by "type" -70s hi beats, alternative displays, alarms, small and ladies' watches. Luckily I own nothing so valuable that it must be kept in a bank vault, so I can indulge my mood or match my outfit. There are a few I don't wear but plan to keep - mostly the ones I bought to be "complete" in a particular vintage theme - also some that have integral bracelets that I can't shorten enough. There are, of course, some orphans as well. If something doesn't get worn for a year, it goes into the "for sale or gift" cold storage.
