I have been hankering after this piece now, not sure why but it is now under my skin.
I have seen a few but none with agreat dial with enamelled letters!
maybe..........
Julian
I think they have two different dials with different continents, not sure which I would choose or really care. Either would be great.

It's fantastic and thanks for mentioning it. I love the aesthetics as well as the thoughtful mechanical design - one button to instantly jump time zones, hack seconds and synchronised bi-directional date. And if anyone hasn't seen the dial, they absolutely have to. A work of art.
I have never posted this up before, but how does Asia / Oceania look on my wrist?

to have a picture of it on my wrist. Thanks for the photo.

So far none really grabs me but I do think of 1-2 pieces already.
Nothing in the top stratosphere but not that cheap either :p

Compared to the 2 other lists!

Has been the top of my list for the past 3 years, but funds were slow to accumulate due to pesky monetary commitments. That has been overcome as of late, and I am searching for my first.
My short list, 5 pieces or so, are all Lange.. after that I have plans for an RM. For now though, my question is which Lange; and in which metal?
What is tops on your list Andrew?
Best,
Colton
That is honestly the 'problem'. There are some watches I like, possibly even love, but none that I want to commit to for life. A strange feeling. That's why I'm looking for inspiration.
Actually Lange is very close to the top of the list. And at the very top for movements and finish. I just need a case and dial that speaks to my heart. Possibly a Lange 1 moonphase with the warmth of a RG case and possibly an original 1815 chronograph but the nibbled 3 and 9 annoy me.
But Lange is a very astute suggestion. What are your favourite five?
Andrew
To find one's self in... a passion for watches, a love for various brands; but nothing currently that has the power to make you want it enough to reach out.
The Lange 1 MP is a beautiful watch, classicly sized with that wonderfully poetic complication that hides it's complexity very subtlely. I agree the RG would bring warmth, I've found that in all the Lange's i have handled. The original 1815 chrono is another winner, yet I do agree that the numerals cut off is regretable.
For my own personal tastes, I enjoy the Lange 1 in several variations, the Dato, Zeitwerk, Richard Lange and RL Toubillon PLM. 4 of those 5 I consider attainable, but my problem is which to move on first. I've followed Lange so intently for the past 4-5 years that each elicits different feelings, and there is no clear choice for my first.
Apologies for the delayed response, but I look forward to seeing what you decide on!
Best,
Colton
