Hi,
Just thought that i'd share with you the Heuer Cortina Chronograph from the 70's. i acquired it some time ago but now giving it some wrist time. Thinking of getting rid off the bracelet and convert it into a strap watch.
What do u say?

Is doable but you need to locate a custom strap maker that builds the strap with a metal reinforcement on the back.
It may work but it will be hard to couple the strap with the lugs.

By and large, when a watch don't have a specific forum or is not made by an independent, the Horological Meandering is the place to post.

The integrated strap ...
... was one of the design features of the Cortina, along with the hexagonal case. So it would be a pity to change that, and it would not be straightforward to fit a strap.
A watch design reminiscent of the 1970s and fun to have in the collection.
