LEROY Chronometre Tourbillon Prototype
Constant Force escapement, fusee & chain, diamonds instead of rubies for the jewels, domed caps for the screws....old school but modern technology.
Bell & Ross updated their cases to balance the square-round proportions so that it is not dominated by the square.
2015 novelties of X-1 Collection next to original 2014 timepiece
BLANCPAIN looked after the ladies'mechanical complication' market with an innovative day-night display that is semi-instantaneous.
The display is blocked so the Sun is shown in the daytime and at 6pm, the display is allowed to move to moon face.
Similarly, the moon does not move at night until 6 am when the Sun majestically glides into view.
Duo of tourbillon AND carrousel escapements in the same watch!
The winding mechanism teeth can be seen around the circumference of the innerbezel. Turning the crown makes the winding ring turn to charge both escapements/mainsprings.
Metiers Artes with Indian deities, fantastic animals, Chinese zodiac Year of Goat and Tree of Life

MTF, is it possible that the Leroy in the OP is not the new Chronometre Observatoire, but (rather) the Chronometre à Tourbillon? There be a few CHF swinging on the answer...
Whilst the keyboard is out, please accept gratitude and congratulations on your up-to-the minute reportage. Best of luck winding up proceedings, and safe travels.
The Leroy Chronometre Observatoire looks stunning although it is only a prototype and the Blancpain Metier D'arts is very nice indeed especially the first one "sphinx".
Salman. I find it fantastic the way they (the artists) have succeeded in "showing" two heads, depending on how one looks at, it's a ram, look again, it's a lion! Very nice.
. . . while on a field trip with my classmates. French archaeologist Roman Ghirshman was present, and gave us a brief lecture on the history of the site.
Blancpain are going to cater more for ladies complications

That sounds a bit like a statement from an OB/GYN specialist, but seriously, Blancpain are bringing in future, more complicated mechanical watches fro ladies that are not issued in gents' versions.......
It may be a market-led trend?!?
