The medallion on the case back, yes. The numbers are good except for the rose gold. More than 30 were made. ;) And the Geophysic was discontinued in 1961. [nt]

With Mr. Lambert in charge La Big Maison was sailing full steam
For over 10 years J. Lambert has done all that was possible to bring back JLC to life and often right at the top amongst the best. He could handle every single facet of the Big Maison whilst ensuring that every effort was rewarded. I see it as the best JLC decade over the last 50 years. He is a champ!

Agreed! I was introduced to JLC during the Lambert era so there's a part of me that still thinks of the brand that way.
It reminds me of the 60-70's American muscle cars, excessive, silly maybe, but so characterful.

JLC deserves a much higher status in the watch world....
I guess its a question of leadership, positioning and market perception. But then again there are more choices for us at a reasonable price compared to some ridiculous values out there....Good luck with your new purchase!
This is awesome. As others have commented, under Lambert, JLC was a powerhouse who often flexed their horological muscle...
the best era by far for modern JLC watches and I am one of many here that hopes JLC can get back to or restart what Jerome did all those years ago.
He had a vision for JLC and executed it very well. The Extreme line was and still is amazing. This was LONG before the SS and sport's watch craze today. Imagine if the Extreme line came out today from JLC!!! Watches like the Extreme Lab 1, EL 2, or even the Compressor line.

Yes, the Master Compressor was not very warmly welcomed. I liked it, especially the MC Memovox, which was a modernized Polaris. [nt]
