Question - in total, across all of the versions of this watch, how many do you guess the brand produced?
I don't have the figures in mind, but I would say around 1300, from memory. ( The Ti Van Blue, Ti Van Red, and the Rose Gold ).
Not that many, for sure. But I would have reduced the number to 750. 250 LE per version, red, blue and gold, to make them even more exclusive.
The Rose Gold numbers always throw me but I think it is 950 total?
300 red ti, 300 blue ti, 200 black rg, 150 brown rg?
Amazing piece and an incredible relative value nowadays.

Wow, the new forum resolution is crazy! Love this shot, I think the EL2 can be hard to photograph. It looks best at an angle but then lighting can be challenging...

What’s a super looking thing.
For me, it’s the engineering that has gone into that whole chrono pusher assembly, from the way the guards jut out of the evacuated case sides to the way the actual pushers are both clearly protected and operated. JLC sure does know how to pull all the stops out!
This is futuristic and contemporary all at once.
Great photo of this. Need to see it in person some day. The size is large but guessing wearable with the shorter lugs. Very compelling!
The EL2 is super wearable, even for smaller wrist sizes due to the short and articulating lugs. See below on my 16.5cm (6.5 inch wrist)...
Normally with larger watches, there is a float between where the strap meets the case and how it wraps around the wrist. Due to the articulating lugs of the EL2, there is NO strap float and it is also extremely comfortable as well.
Even though it is a huge watch, it can still be worn on smaller wrists. Same can be said for DeBethune models with their articulating lug system 😉
