Hello:

After much thought and consideration I have decided to purchase a JLC.  From my research and also after owning an Audemars Piguet OffShore TimeZone, which uses a JLC movment, I have decided that JLC is most likely the best watch value out there.  To help me in my decision I have a few questions to ask of one or more of you JLC WIS's.  The two watches I am considering are the Reverso Sun Moon and the Reverso Squadra (please forgive any misspelling).  I understand that the Sqadra has a larger square case.  However, I am unsure about the others in the Reverso line.  Do the new ones also have a larger case.  I've seen quite a lot of different case sizes advertised for the Reverso series.  What are the current full size cases and what was the full size case in the past?  Further, I welcome your recommendations as other JLC watches may fit my needs and encourage people to post their feelings, watch scans, etc. about their JLC's.

I am going to do some in depth searches of the site.  Especially about the XGT Reverso.  I rather like a larger watch.  However, the dial of Sun Moon is perfection to me.

All I can say is it is an absolutely stunning watch.....I still can't stop looking at it..!! It keeps amazing time....I just spent a month monitoring it and I can make it gain or loose time very accurately by storing it either vertically (gains 1-2 secs a day) or horizontally (looses 2-3 secs per day).
It is a piece I bought for my own leisure time and not for work. It is VERY different from the Squadra so it all depends on why you want the watch for. Either way you'll be pleased.

I have to say that Tony should get the credit for the hand in pocket shot......he did a similar pose in a suit so i thought i would do a similar pose when mine arrived in a more casual attire to show it isn't just a dress watch...!!  It also show's more clearly the size on my 6.5" wrist, I took the shot at distance and used the zoom to get a close view as I find in most wrist shots the camera is held too close and gives the impression the watch is much bigger on the wrist.  Always worth seeing one in the flesh first, or at least the same case size.  The first Sun Moon I saw was mine when I picked it up, but I did try on a Grande Date which is the same XGT case.
Yes the moon phase is beautiful and is the reason I went for this model....I'd been after a moon phase piece for ages (years..!) then this popped up last year.  Actually nice not to have a date as it needs changing every other month and i have enough other watches with dates on them.  Also the 8 day power reserve is fantastic...once a week and it's done.
