its not what you might expect, but it is the best designed timepiece ever IMHO. no need to wind.. ever .. keeps perfect time and looks fabulous... Enjoy.

i have looked very closely at JLC watches and have owned a few military wrist and pocket watches which have now gone to auction.

i very much like the Master 8 day perpetual, but ended up with a UN Freak and UN Ludwif Perpetual instead. i love the gyro tourbillon especially with its solar time hand which makes life so much simpler if you need to know solar time, but i have a family, mortgage etc and all the local banks are closing so nothing to rob

difficult to bring a Collection of these pieces to a PuristS BYOPPP (Bring Your Own Party Piece) 

Whe we finally settle down, the current Mrs MTF and I will get one of these JLC conversation pieces for the homely mantle.

i got mine from Norway via the worlds biggest online auction site fully serviced by an ex JLC employee for far less than the cost of a weekend in disneyland paris. i thinks its far better value.
