I have been traveling like crazy and have missed following-up on all of the great information in this forum, but a dilemna has brought me back as I am now faced with a tough decision. A few months ago I found a JLC Reverso RDM in Platinum that I had been searching for and the price was right so I added it to my collection. At the time, I was also looking for a GO PanoMaticLunar in Platinum with the black dial but could not find one.

My AD called me this morning and informed me that one has come in and now I am stuck. I unfortunately cannot afford to buy the GO without trading in my JLC in fear that my wife will in all probability leave me. Trade in the JLC Platinum Reverso RDM for the GO Platinum PML or keep the JLC.

All help appreciated as I can't afford to lose anymore sleep.

Well, I guess a lot of us have been in your position with respec to losing spouses and sleep.  LOL 

It is really difficult to compare these two pieces, as they are so different in spite of the fct that they are both in the same metal.  IMHO you need to just figure out which one makes your heart beat a little faster than the other, regardless of perceived value, etc.  Either way, you can't make a bad decision - they are both great watches.  Let us know what you decide and post some photos.  Goo luck.

you are a smart man, I am happy to report that I came to this decision myself as well.

Tough though, love my wife, but the PML I think would have given me less grief over the long haul.

I understand you my friend. The wise choice can sometimes be the toughest ;-)

Seriously, I hope you didn't go on the JLC Reverso RDM in platinum just because you couldn't get the GO...

These are 2 very different datches, and I can't decide for you, as anybody else can do it for you, my friend..

I can only tell you that in your place, if you allow me to put mysel in your place for a moment, I'd keep the Reverso RDM in platinum.

Even if the GO is a very appealing watc, and sublime in plat, I'd say that the Reverso is just a monster of beauty, and elegance.

Furthermore, some may tell you that the GO is a bit too much like the Lange...

While the Reverso is just uncomparable...

My humble opinion, my friend.

It has been a long time my friend, I hop you are well. Your advice is always appreciated and as always it is spot on. You will be happy to know that I came to the same conclusion as well. I love the JLC RDM and it hit me fully as I was driving to my AD to see the GO. The sun hit that JLC dial and I made up my mind. This watch thing is addictive and I had a moment of uncertainty when the GO became available, but JLC is dear to me. It is a watch I wanted for a long time and it took me some time to find one that was in perfect shape and the right price. I made the right choice.
