Dear all,
I've been logged to this wonderful site for a long time but I never dared to post some messages, because my watches and aknowldege are so low in comparison to yours and my english not good enough to dare posting something.
I do not know if there is a specific part to introduce oneself, if yes, sorry, please locate my post in the right part of the forum.
I am Fabrice, Jaeger92 on various French forums and I live near Paris. I'm 30 and work as Marketing Resp. for a major 2-wheels manufacturer. I've been loving JLC since the beginning of my sickness (yes, loving watches is a sickness
.
I have the pleasure to own some watches, not a lot, but I think they are in line with me and my various needs : about non-Rolex : a Panera PAM183 (Radiomir Black Seal, sold quickly because I was fed up with its 45mm on my little whrist), a PAM48 (Luminor 40mm), an Omega Speedmaster (Saphir back to watch the 1863 running).A bout Rolex, I'm proud to wear a 2008 Seadweller and a 1978's 5513. I love this 5513, because it's a 1978 model (like me
))) ) and its patine is wonderful. It's running perfectly and I love the dome, so warm and so different from a modern seadweller. I posted some pictures at Rolex corner.
About JLC, the brand I really love ! I have a JLC Reverso GT Sunmoon and a JLC Master Calendar.
I found in love with the Ultrathin in gold with chocolate dial, for the 175yrs of the "Grande Maison". perhaps it will be the next one.. with a memovox or a master reveil.. too many nice watches !!
Thanks to the Purists, I "met" AlexSunrise and I hope to meet him and welcome him in Paris in a few months for a Swiss trip. So, thanks the Purists for this friendship!
Thanks so much for your passion and everything you learned me !!
Fabrice

thanks Nicolas for you warm welcome. I keep you in touch when Alex is in France !
Abrazo!
Alejandro
))
Thank you Aaronm and MW !
Paris is a beautiful city indeed, if you come to Paris, tell me ! I have the chance to come regulary in various shops to catch some dreams and the JLC boutique in Place Vendome is tiny but full of surprises and the team is so friendly, the salers, the charming Director and the watch-repairer ! I was thursday evening at the Presentation of SIHH new models at Vendome (with Amanico) and the show was great !

because I think that to be a Purist it´s no a matter of quantity of watches...
No a matter of knowledge too... here all us are learning every day, and enjoying every day. You have choice the perfect forum.
Congrats for your great collection.... and your good english
Best
Emilio
Welcome to the brotherhood
and congratulations for the superb JLCs!

I hate hot weather!
But I wish you warmer days
Marcelo
As it's been years since we have seen any here in Monterrey. In fact, our coldest day this winter has been a mild 8 degrees celsius!
The trees are even starting to bloom! Hahaha
Best,
Alex

The beginning of a moon phase JLC watches collection? no ! only these JLC, and that's all ! and rare are the watches with moonphases and 8days of power reserve, so I'm completely satisfied with my GSM. Winding the MC everyday is not a torture but it's too frequent for me and I don't have a watch winder
Do you have the same moon phase precision with your Grande Reverso and your Master? I didn't measure the MC but I check the GSM at JLC Paris Boutique and the chrono-comparer displayed +7s, which is very acceptable for me.
So, finish with the moonphases, I want now some new complications or models (Ultrathin, Atmos...)
Bye !
