Good morning. I have a dualmatic that requires full service. I have received an estimate for full service (apparently because it has the compressor mechanism) it had to be sent to Switzerland) and it seems quite high. what might a "full service" run on a watch like this? thanks in advance
I had a full service on my EWC in 2007 and paid around $800. I currently have my Master Compressor Geographic in for service and was quoted $1030. It was also suggested that I replace the Compressor crowns (3 of them) because the paint is yellowing for an additional $1070! This is the first time I have used this AD to facilitate the service, and I wounder if I am getting gouged! I opted not to replace out the crowns, as they were in my opinion, in good condition.
I received the answer from my contact at the Manufacture, and I have received the confirmation that a small complication like the Dual Time or the Dual Matic would cost 525 Euros for a complete service ( movement service and polish ).
It can be more important if you have to changr the dial, the glass and so on...
