No more soggy straps, which I cannot bear.

It has a nice vintage look and is a comfortable alternative IMO.

 

Someone in the family prefers the leather though and reckons this bracelet

somewhat cheapens the watch. Well, you can’t please everyone but luckily it’s quickly reversible.

 

There’s no way I’m going to wait for cooler days before I wear the 1931 Tribute.

...as this is a rectangular watch and the tubular parts are totally tucked in, they have become like a part of the case design and don't bother me as much.

As you can see, there are holes in between where the tubes flush against the curvature of the case. This is not the case with your Reverso.


Now you must tell me if this is the view from your living room?

I agree with you. That why I said it's not perfect. Ideally it should be integrated with the case & lugs but there's no alternative with this Reverso. Just an experiment but will revert back to the oem strap which has a special plastic end bit to make it conform to the shape of the lugs - quite ingenious!

It's a view I wake up to each morning.
