I recently acquired this JLC Triple Date Moonphase Chronograph with 18K screwback case with Valjoux 88 movement. The individual I purchased the watch from had it authenticated at JLC Japan. I sent the watch to JLC in Ft. Worth, they felt it was authentic. They sent it on to JLC in Switzerland and they would not service the watch because it has a Valjoux 88 movement. They didn't give any further explanation. The watch has no serial number or model number on the case. I have noticed recently that Heuer made a special collectors edition " Golden Hours" that from what I can tell have no serial number or model number stamped on the watch. I am wondering if anyone can help me identify this watch? Thanks in advance for your help. Bob Lembkey

It is a (nice) Tourneau TDM chrongraph that have been frankened with a repainted dial and somewhat incoherent blued leaf hands, with a re-engraved chronograph bridge.
I would very much be a buyer for this watch in its unaltered condition, as it is all in all an attractive combination (and actually there was one very same selling on the Bay untill yesterday which I was following with great interest), but it would have to be 100% original.
I am sorry that you had to learn the hard way. Hope this was not a too expensive mistake
(the above sold for 2500$ at auction, to give you a reference point)
