Jaeger-LeCoultre: Tourneau Chronograph

Sir, Do you have a photo of the case back? Just curious to see if it is similar to the one on the JLC. Also, the bezel on the JLC appears to be wider, crown larger, hands obviously different, pushers for the day and moon phase don't seem to protrude as far from the case on the JLC as on the Tourneau

Jaeger-LeCoultre: JLC Moonphase

I have to admit that I am not an expert in JLC watches, My expertise is in Rolex and Patek watches. I was attracted to this watch because of its uncommon beauty. I have to agree, there are no similar references to find on the internet, no books to consult with similar examples. All of you who respon

Jaeger-LeCoultre: JLC Triple Date Moonphase Chronograph

I recently acquired this JLC Triple Date Moonphase Chronograph with 18K screwback case with Valjoux 88 movement. The individual I purchased the watch from had it authenticated at JLC Japan. I sent the watch to JLC in Ft. Worth, they felt it was authentic. They sent it on to JLC in Switzerland and th

Patek Philippe: 5050 Serial Numbers

I would be very cautious about any Patek that didn't have the case# and movement number on the papers. Best Regards, Bob

Patek Philippe: Both are beautiful, but the 5970J is more complicated

and should be more desirable in the future. In my opinion the 5970J was produced in smaller numbers than the 5070P and has a nicer size 40mm vs 42mm. The case on the 5970 has much nicer lines than the 5070. I have to admit the dial on the 5070P is awesome looking. But in the final analysis it comes

Patek Philippe: Patek 5125 Wempe vs Patek 5396

I thought that Patek would eventually come out with a watch like the 5125, but without the Wempe written on the moonphase indicator, and that was one reason why I sold the 5125 that I owned. I felt if Patek did offer an identical watch to the 5125, it would devalue the Wempe 5125. It always seemed a

Patek Philippe: Patek 5970P by default

I must say that I think the 5970 series will be the collectible of the future, and certainly the P model because of the allure to collectors of the rarity and exclusivity or the P and also all of the other 5970 models, but with that being said, I think that the Rolex Paul Newman manual wind series o

Patek Philippe: Domi --Beautiful Collection

I wish you would consider a R , G or J in the 5970. In my opinion the 5970 series has the best look of the Patek Chronos you pictured. Don't get me wrong, I love Platinum, I also love a bit of variety. Best Regards, Bob Lembkey
