...especially on this type of bracelet. The only thing that scares me is adjusting the bracelet to fit properly. Heaven forbid it is too small...
You can do a lot with some solder and a good watchmaker.
I have a Vacheron like that. It has its full bracelet, but I have a very big wrist and always need a bit of extension with watch bracelets and straps. My bracelet has a folding clasp like the one in the picture. I had mine extended, not as far as the one in the picture but far enough for my needs. It now looks like a clasp with 3 settings instead of 2, but the clasp is not long enough to close on the smallest setting.
The extension is fully reversible, having been accomplished using some added gold but without removing any original metal and with a soldered attachment such that if heated the extension should come loose before the rest of the gold melts. I don't know how many watchmakers are left who can or would do that kind of work.

I had the extension as you can see on the third picture done by a regular goldsmith . Easy and not complicated .
