Amazing that it's been about three years with Ceramic QP, and it still looks as new as it did when I first received it! For the first two years this was my primary daily wearer, desk diver, and traveler. Interestingly enough - it's been a pretty understated model - including in the AP boutique - one SA actually thought it was a Hublot!

In the end, no question that this particular model helped advance the use of ceramics across its entire line - and with the QP - it seamlessly integrates the AP of old with the AP of new.

I hope more and more models can come out in full ceramic, perhaps in different colors? I'm still dreaming for the 16202 in Ceramic!!

Very legible for a QP. The ceramic doesn't seem to show any sign a wear, quite impressive especially the clasp which takes most of the beating as a desk diver!

And every time I feel like I think there has been a scratch or dent or crack made - this watch comes out so far unscathed.

I'm a fan of patina and all but to me this is one of those "set it, wear it, and forget it" watches

As a DSOTM and GSOTM owner I have a huge appreciation for ceramic watches. Omega has actually injected molecules that allow the ceramic to be fully functional down to 2000 ft. One of the criteria I use to judges ceramics in horology is textures. As with your AP and my Omegas the case is textured with the only device with that capability…a diamond lathe. There are brands that don’t bother and IMO the cases come out looking like cheap plastic. A fabulous piece…enjoy!

Probably the only Achilles heel to these watches - my wife's hands!!!

Love your Omegas - feels good when ceramic is finished well and designed well My wife does have a Chanel J12 and it's just "standard" glossy finish.

The black case and bracelet seem to help minimize the plethora of displays.  I adore a traditional PC layout like AP has forever used, even if my eyes can no longer read the gauges without readers, and the black case seems like a perfect frame.  Thanks for the photos!

I agree - I also have a strong preference for the traditional PC layout of the AP over others - one that has mostly not changed for many many years. Funny also how AP was bold enough to place a PC in a sporty case with the 5548.
