More End of Days -strap pics
I’ve read comments that this new style strap is more stiff that the rubber, and this is true. But I do like this cool new style, and I want to point out that despite its relative stiffness, it does still wrap around and close nicely on the wrist. We’ll see how it loosens up over time.
p.s. I will add that it seems to be a bit of a dust trap…i’ll have to get one of those little keyboard air blowers if the dust truly gets stuck 🤣
Wow that a cool duo! Btw if your strap is too stiff and not yet fitted to your wrist I see two options I use sometime
I have Cushion about the size of my wrist so I can form the strap leaving it like that. This works most of the time. But for very still straps, I take extreme measures and I wet them with warm water and strap them to the watch cushion while the strap is wet. As it dries it helps shape it faster to your wrist
That makes a lot of sense…
because in the case of this piece, I tighten around the cushion (just for the purpose of being snug in the case)…but then I find when I take it out, it is better form fitting to my wrist, exactly as you explained. So, the cushion technique works in this case. The strap isn’t that stiff that it needs the warm water. But just to make sure I understand, you don’t soak it in warm water, instead you sort of rub it a bit with warm water and then put on cushion, correct?
I actually simply open the hot water and pass the strap under it. So I don’t soak it but depending on how stiff it is I make sure it is completely wet - unfortunately this is not an exact science
If I have a stubborn strep, I will make it pretty wet 😉
I get it, the principle makes sense. I’m going to try the cushion with the Cartier, and if not enough change then I will the warm water.
It’s definitely better than yesterday since having it on cushion and actually wearing it.
The truly stiffest strap I’ve encountered is the Cartier Must strap, wow.

Yes, these both have the easy strap removal and they’re the same size.
Although, for the Music Edition, even though it comes with multiple strap colors, I like it most on the black strap.
