Alpine Eagle titanium

This one caught my eye.  I like the minimal openworking.  Not like a full openworked movement ala AP or Parmigiani.

Nice contrast between hands and background...

...which most open-work designs fail to provide...

+1

They have done this Skeletec before on LUC models...not sure if I see a wow factor.

Same here!

Agreed. They could have done so much more with this and it could have been a big win.

Was just about to say it takes the Skeletec approach

Which I in principle like but not sure that I would prefer this to the other dials in the AE 🧐🤷🏻‍♂️

Honestly, not a big fan...

I was really looking forward to this one, but I am underwhelmed. I wish they would have done something more in the line of the Laureato Skeleton for example

Nice watch but underwhelming finishing.

Unfortunately …

It leaves me feeling unmoved.

Am the same my friend and before I saw it I thought it would join the Eagles I have but a big mis.

If only the balance wheel is in the front or visible, see through from dial..then it will be awesome.

 By: Clueless_Collector : April 9th, 2024-21:44

It would be a good start for sure

Your nest is already well packed!!

 By: MichaelC : April 9th, 2024-22:07
It will need to be a special Eagle to get in there smile

I think you might be right! Time to focus on something else, like maybe PF 😎

How about this new Monster!

Photo from Parmigiani factory website:

Yes I saw it last night and it’s very beautiful…a much better job on the skeleton design IMHO

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : April 10th, 2024-10:39

Hmmm, not bad!

 By: amanico : April 11th, 2024-06:36

And it’s platinum!

Another good reason! ;)

The concept got my attention …

Especially the slim case, however it’s a good example of why watches generally have dials.

It’s really surprising they could not do better here. They had a chance to further solidify the popularity of this collection and position in the market

By: Chronometer (aka yacomino) : April 10th, 2024-10:41

Honestly I think it’s poorly designed/done

By: Mohannad (aka Riddler) : April 9th, 2024-21:47

It does feel a bit like making a skeleton just for the sake of doing so.

 By: MichaelC : April 9th, 2024-22:08
I wonder what they would come up with if they did apply a real openwork method to the movement parts and not just the plates.

Really bad imo

Low effort skeletons look really rough to me. I like the closed dial variant of this watch a lot but this does nothing for me.

odd that doesn't have the Geneva seal like the salmon

 By: Dchang81 : April 9th, 2024-22:10

Can't say I like it...

 By: patrick_y : April 9th, 2024-22:49
Sign me up for the AP Openwork watch - but not this one.

really not nice 🙅🏻‍♂️seems broken

 By: christianch : April 9th, 2024-23:30
the skeletonisation is too superficial, they should have sticked with special dials with the gorgeous eagle feather pattern.

Any reason why this watch doesn't have the Geneva Seal or am I missing it?
