Found this in one of my late father's many many many folders of clipped articles. Combines two of his favourite things, clipping newspapers, and fast cars, and my favourite watch manufacturer, Chopard.
Anyone any idea what the vintage rattrapante he's talking about might be?

"I couldn't wash the leather straps, so I thought I'd make one from metal." He visited a jeweller in Monte Carlo. "Chopard didn't make bracelets then, as one downside was the requirement to correctly fit the piece to each person. The upside is it's a nice piece of jewellery."
