This Ref. is near the top of my list for my next acquisition. They are such a bargain, I'm on the hunt for a nicely preserved one and I think I have found one in eBay, I will post pictures when it arrives. Does yours also have the blue date wheel?
Thank you. Yes, my date wheel is blue. I'm no expert but have been
told mine is very nice and in incredible condition for watch around 65 years old.

As soon as my Ref. 7317 from eBay arrives I'll post it in a separate thread, but at first is has a long way from the USA to Europe and customs in between. The pictures were crappy but it still had the original crystal with the internal date magnifier loupe, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it wasn't such a bargain for a reason!

Bought at an auction form a significant collector a while ago. Rather highly radio active lumen, so does not get much wrist time. Supposed to have been in the first batch from G-P and still keeps good time. Marks on the dial are shadows from the crystal. I like the still sharp edges

Wow, also a very fine Gyromatic
with loads of character! It also seems to be in incredible shape, love the original crystal - give it some Polywatch treatment to eliminate the fine scratches! Mine has a round magnifier, maybe it is a later version - it also has the 12-9-6 dial like the Thread starters watch, but on the pictures on ebay the dial seemed much whiter and less patinated except for the pumpkin color radium dots themselves - I will of course post pictures when it arrives after its lengthy overseas shipping journey.
I´m curious how radioactive my specific watch will be, I currently only have 2 radium pieces in my collection but the geiger counter only shows very moderate readings when I place it directly over the crystal, a few centimetres away there is no inreased radiation and on the caseback there is also nothing above backgroud level.
I won´t sleep with a radium watch on and will never open one myself but as I live in an area with very, very little natural radon gas exposion I think there are many other things to worry about than radium and/or emitted radon gas by these watches.

Nice, we are almost twinning, I have a nearly identical strtap
on mine, black lizard. However I have no date magnifier and no lume at all on the dial.
