Is this a Ferrari piece? 2012 was the debut year of the F70 La Ferrari. And in 2012, wasn't Ferrari with Panerai or Hublot? The Ferrari F50 came out in the 1990s, and that's when GP had their relationship with Ferrari.
Having four sub-registers instead of three balances the dial and gives it real interest. Add in the different colour of the numerals and the overall strength of the look of the case - just a bit bulky, but still refined with those slightly elongated lugs - and I think youβve got a winner.
In fact the only thing I donβt like here is the βF50β on the dial - would have been better on the back if you ask me!

GP had too many variants and references back then. Many looked alike to each other. Same cases etc. Some pedestrian and some works of art. Collectors became confused. Paradox of choice.
