I found some a pricelist for Omega from August 1st, 1959.
Also info about Railmaster, Seamaster 300 and Speedmaster.
I like that kind of historical price lists
Based on US inflation, the today’s price of a Railmaster would be $1100 vs $130, $1520 vs $180 for a Seamaster 300 and $1650 vs $195 for a Speedmaster 😉

Things have changed quite a bit.
At the current retail price on the Seamaster 300, we could buy 45 and a few spare straps.

Did Omega have a model called Ranchero? Or have I finally cracked under the stress and I’m reading gibberish.
Ranchero was the poor man's Railmaster back then . . .
. . . and eminently collectible today. One just went for > $10K on eBay.

That was expensive! In Sweden the same watches was much cheaper!
Back in 1959, 1 SEK =0.193361 USD.
In Sweden the prices were:
Seamaster 401 SEK=77.54 USD
Railmaster 310 SEK=59.94 USD
Speedmaster 462 SEK=89.33 USD
Still, I would happily pay US prices today...!
