Happy Easter everyone. Fresh catch on this Sunday antique show.
This is a 1939 Omega with a nice movement almost untouched. The case is 32.5mm. Would be nicenif it is ina 38mm case. The dial is still quite nice and quite fresh.
I believe that's a wholly original ref 2097 . . .
. . . powered by the first iteration of Omega's '30' series of movements. There's an example in my collection . . .
. . . with Arabics. Yours has an original crown, while mine is the specified replacement. Congratulations! You did well.

Thanks Art. I took a gamble not knowing what kind of shape of the movement is in there. The back is vey tight and I couldn't open it.
Luckily it worked out fine. Have to service later and put on a nice strap.
