Omega

Saw this watch at my AD today and was stuck by how classical this piece looked.  Reminded me of Patek dials with the off-white creamy silver and applied markers.  Nice leaf hands, terrific doctors dial with pulsations and some of the nicest chrono pushers I've ever seen on a late model non-Patek watch (slender rectangular pushers).  It's price was ridiculously cheap for a Rose Gold case, compared to other high end watches.  So what's the rub? This piece looks sooooo good.  I'm thinking about buying it tomorrow, but the last post I've seen about this watch was late last year (nearly 12 mos ago) and I can find precious little information about it online. Has anyone else taken delivery and are there any wristshots or first/second impressions out there?  Thanks in advance.

. . . wholly positive from an aesthetic viewpoint, and reinforced by the sensible size and proportions. My reservations would be with the movement, which is not designed from the ground up as a manual winding integrated chronograph. Successful design externally, terrific wrist presence, and wonderfully tactile; still, I'd feel better about it if the cal 1863 were substituted. Cordially, Art

A very pretty watch which deserves a top flight movement - for the price they should have used a cal. 321 movement.

Hi Nothing but time....

It is a classic design and fit and finish is top notch.  As Art pointed out the movement is a new development from Omega and does not have a track record as the 321 ( 50 years... )  and 1861 ( 30 years) .



The track record has to start somewhere and i think this watch is a great place to start .

I have had this watch for 3 days and it's broken.  Something is wrong with the movement.  The watch has stopped (fully wound). The second hand starts moving when the chrono is engaged but stops when the chrono is stopped. I couldn't make this up if I tried.  It was working for the first 48hrs.  What a shame.   Ha ha ha ha ... I just can't believe it.  Welp; back to the watch shop.

That I bought just few days ago, and the superb finish of the case and dial can easely be compared to the High-End brands like VC, A. Lange, PP...the caliber 3201 is just a stripped 3313, I have one Speedy 50th anniversary with the caliber 3201 inside and in both watches I did not have any problem, just the contrary, they keep a wonderful +2 secs per day...it is a pity that you have that malfunction in a such wonderful piece....hope that it will be corrected soon!!...
