One of my newest arrivals is this 18k cal. 551 ref. 14393 deluxe connie.  We all know about the piepan arrowhead so-called mirror dials with the brushed center and mirror finish in the periphery.  Has anyone seen a dial where this configuration is reversed?  Meaning the center is the mirror -reflective finish and the periphery is matte/brushed?  I personally have not seen this before and was wondering if anyone here has.  Here is a picture of the watch in question (dial is of course original and not a refinish).

Is it really mirrored in the center? - in the picture it looks like finely satinated - I have one in silver, but only fair condition and not good for comparison.

The center is not brushed it is extremely fine matte...

When you take the picture head on, it appears black!  This is the only watch picture I have taken of something in my collection that I could not take at a perfect 90 degree angle because of this. 
Here is an earlier picture (pre-crystal polish one) which shows that center mirror area a bit better.

And no doubt it is original and not a franken.  Do you have pictures of the few you've seen to share Hoi?  Would love to see them as I've asked others about this dial and this is the first one they've seen.

It's in Vietnam and I will try to get a few pics for you. 

Could this be made for the US market?

a fraction blingy for my tastes, but lovely nonetheless.
