What are your favourite sunglasses this summer?
I’m switching between two pairs of Maui Jims. Brown ones and light ones. Being by the water most of the time I like the polarized glass they have. Enjoy!
I’m also switching between Maui Jim’s.
I used to be a fan of Persol but I now prefer the lenses of the Maui Jim’s (especially their bronze lenses). I’ve been using a black plastic pair for hiking and daily wear, and titanium framed, small aviators when something more formal is required.
I’ve been using the black plastic pair with a neck cord, which I know is not stylish but it is eminently practical when hiking and walking in and out of forested areas or going in and out of shops.

Like you Jon, I used to be a Persol guy. But the quality isn’t what it used to be.
Maui Jims are good. Serengeti should also be good, and I’ve seen Ray Ban making Polarized glasses (again). Enjoy!

As with watches, so in sunglasses we have to try them on to see if they “sing to us”.

First, I bought a pair of Serengeti when I traveled and forgot my Maui Jims at home. (How can one forget Maui Jims??)
Serengeti are really good, found out. Fit well. Lenses adjust to brightness/darkness and that is cool. And the folding type is compact. Thumbs up.
I usually buy ONLY Maui Jims. Excellent lenses. Great fit. And when they broke, Maui Jim fixed them 2 times FREE of Charge.
Actually, I just broke one lens on My Hawaiian Limited Edition pair a about 2 weeks ago. I have to try my luck again and see if they will give me a new lens for free.
Even if they won't, I still love them. You couldn't ask for better sunglasses and company, IMO.

I heard about Mauis from a close surfer friend. At first I had a hard time finding a pair a liked, but when I did and I got used to wearing them - bingo!
