A selection of shots taken in Ashikaga, a popular flower park 1.5hr north of Tokyo. Late April / early May is peak season for Wisteria (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wisteria) and a real treat. I got lucky with the Grey Heron, it was one of the first shot I took and I barely had the time to press the shutter before it took off. From a photography point of view I used a zoom lens this time and it felt like cheating but it proved the better choice for such a variety of situations. Have a nice week-end!
