... the engine will be severely damaged and he will have to search for 2 old model RS6+ and take out the engines. And then there will still be a lot of work welding them together ... maybe the guys who filmed the accident can give him a hand .... .
On the other hand i think the Veyron-guy is rich enough to buy two brandnew RS6, tune both engines to 700+ hp and fit them in (May i present you the 1400 hp 20 cilinder Bugatti) !!!!
BtW ... last week i had the chance of sitting in the backseat of an RS6-580 ... with a nutty driver behind the steering wheel .... smiiiiiiiiiiiile...

I would not sit in the back of an RS6, even more if I was driving!
Well at least you were closer to the exhaust pipes and you could hear the BOAR while shifting gear at full charge.
I have never burned before three sets of tyres in 10000 kms without trackdays, only with this car!
My friend Mayer from MTM is building a R8 with a supercharged RS6 engine ,800 Hp !, hope to test drive it on thursday when i pick up my new S5

Read about this earlier today and saw a few seconds of a cell-phone shot video of the car being towed out of the marsh, I think it's a pity about the car, but I think the internet community is a bit overreactive about this subject.

Seems the driver is safe, and nobody else was hurt. A shame about the Bugatti though!

DaosIn the past 2 weeks, 2 drivers have hit parked cars near my house
Luckily not on our street, which is a dead-end but still gets 40 mph maniacs driving through.
Each of the accidents was due to reaching over to the passenger seat to get something, and veering into parked cars.
Naturally each poor parked car was punted up into a front yard.
Neither of the drivers was hurt and both expressed astonishment that such a thing could happen! "I was only going about 30-35 mph, when I reached over to get my sweater off the front seat, and suddenly the airbags went off in my face" the first lady told me, not knowing me from Adam and with no thought of the consequences. Imagine the surprise of the owners of the minivan she hit, when they came back from the store and found their car in a neighbor's front yard.
The second driver had been drinking and had two small children with him in the car. Ironically, he'd been looking back at the children telling them to be quiet while they were shouting to him to stop driving... he said all this in front of a crowd of witnesses. His right front wheel was ripped off in the impact, complete with brake, spindle, steering rod, etc. The right rear was punctured and he had tried to drive off without those two wheels. Didn't do the pavement any good either.
I need to move to a neighborhood with safer drivers!

Mike, that's horrible! I was once commuting back from the office, and this was at my old job when I had to drive all the way across town, so I was in the car for awhile a few vehicles back from this guy who was speeding or trying to speed but there was tons of traffic so based on his driving I think he was starting to get frustrated. I lost track of him for a bit on the commute home and then next thing you know I'm driving past his wrecked car which is now up in somebody's garden, and smashed like a tin can. I then had to sit in more traffic while they cleared up all the cars in the intersection. I don't know who was at fault in the accident since I didn't witness it, but I have a sneaking suspicion...
